At this point it is imperative that you don't alienate your customer, as it's quite likely that you have a significant investment in their continued business. Our Letter of Demand 1 strikes a careful balance in tone, being assertive but not overly aggressive.
Often, the impact of receiving a letter from a debt collection agency will be incentive enough to encourage a debtor to take action.

- 3 Day Payment Window: The Letter of Demand 1 gives the customer 3 days to pay from the date of the letter. This small window of opportunity, coupled with the fact that a debt collection agency has become involved, is quite often the catalyst that makes the debtor pay.
- Assertive, not Aggressive: We understand that customers are vital to your business, and we don't want to alienate them.
- Further Action: We do warn that non-payment may result in further action. After all, they have violated your trading terms by this point.
- Payment must be made to the Creditor: We outline that the payment must be made within the designated time frame to the Creditor (you), referring to prior correspondence or invoices for payment methods or to contact you for details.
- Debt Collection Agency: The letter will be sent from our parent company, Collect It Now, debt recovery experts with over 25 years of industry experience. Letters sent from an actual Debt Collection Agency carry significant impact and are designed to maximize results!
Options
In addition to delivery via standard surface mail, we offer a variety of options with this service:
- Delivery via Email: When a debtors email address is available, it's often a good idea to dispatch this letter via email. The email will be delivered to the debtor almost immediately after we process your order, and the sooner it's received, the sooner you're likely to be paid!
- Delivery via Express Post: Want the hard copy delivered faster? Have it delivered via Express Post!
- Transfer your Costs! If you have a debt collection clause within your client contract or terms and conditions, which your debtor has signed, we will add all your collection fees on to the debtor! If you don't have an appropriate clause, or are unsure, contact us for more information!
